Are things finally starting to look up for the Lohan Family?

Could be that the Lohan's might be on the right track in healing their family relationships. Lindsay Lohan has finally had a face to face meeting  with her estranged father Michael Lohan. This meeting has taken place on November 7, 2010 at the Betty Ford Rehab Center according to Gossip Cop.

The meeting was very emotional for both Lindsay and Michael.

For years Lindsay and Michael Lohan's relationship has been very volatile, a lot of bad blood has passed making Lindsay want nothing to do with her father, that is until yesterday that is.

November 7,2010 will go down as a page in the "Mean Girls" diary as the day she finally wanted to see her father. The Father and Daughter was stated to have spent "considerable time together.

" The only thing Michael Lohan would reveal about his meeting with Lindsay when asked by the press was "As I have consistently said, all I can is that I love Lindsay as I do all of my children, and I am proud of the steps that Lindsay has taken and the progress she has made."

Evan Dina Lohan had a new attitude about how she approached the subject of Lindsay, her addictions and Michael when she talked with Matt Lauer on The Today Show November 8,2010.

During the exclusive interview Dina revealed that Lindsay who has eight weeks of rehab left to go and that Lindsay is at peace, happy and relaxed. "She is a different person now, she has changed," claims Dina Lohan. Dina went on to talk about the time she has spent at Betty Ford in family counseling learning how to deal with co dependency and getting help from other familys going through the same types of issues.

When Matt Lauer asked Dina about the last time she was on the show when she appeared to be in denial about Lindsay's drug addictions and confused about Lindsay's trips to rehab, Dina replied that she wasn't sure if it was considered denial as much as protecting and defending her child claiming that it was not her place to discuss Lindsay's problems at that time, not until Lindsay had come to terms with everything that has happened.

Dina also revealed Lindsay's plans for her future stating that Lindsay will return to making movies because that is what she loves, but wants to open her own rehab facility to help others like herself.

Can this family heal and get passed this?

Kris B of Cincinnati stated "I hope that the Lohan's can find their way back from this.I still don't really know what to believe when it comes to what Michael and Dina have to say or if their motives are sincere. For Lindsay's sake I hope so. I am afraid that if she fails again with her recovery that it will be the end for her this time."
