Lohan house arrest is a possibility in her recent legal troubles. Lindsay Lohan has enjoyed the best of luck with her run-ins with the law, but that luck might be running out. TMZ reported on March 9 that prosecutors in the case where she allegedly lied to police after an accident is offering her house arrest time, but she might reject the offer.
Sources say that the probation violation added to the penalty for lying to the police could put Lohan behind bars for months, but prosecutors are offering her a way out. They are offering Lohan house arrest once again. She has underwent house arrest before for a past crime.
In the last case, she got in even more trouble when her arrest bracelet detected alcohol on her and she had to head in to explain to a judge that it wasn't her alcohol, and that someone spilled some on her. What it proved was that, whether she drank or not, Lohan broke the spirit of house arrest by being around alcohol to begin with.
With short memories, the prosecutors are giving her another chance. Her attorney, Mark Heller, is even negotiating with them on the amount of time she would serve the house arrest. That might not matter because the Lindsay Lohan house arrest might never happen. Lohan wants to take it to court and fight all the charges.
Lindsay Lohan is gambling with her freedom here, and without Shawn Holley representing her, it is long odds.
