A Lohan house arrest is topping celebrity news headlines tonight, as Zap2It reported this Saturday, March 9, that the U.S. justice system may be cutting Lindsay Lohan a break for her charges. While Lilo faces jail time if convicted during her trial for lying to the police and violating her probation, she has allegedly been offered a 90-day house arrest option instead.
With the headline, “Lindsay Lohan house arrest: Facing house arrest instead of rehab or jail time”, sources report that LiLo is saying no to the house arrest offer. A judge first offered Lindsay Lohan a three-month period in a rehab lockdown, where the star could not leave rehab until the treatment was over. However, Lohan refused the offer.
Now, TMZ added that regarding the Lohan house arrest headlines, Lindsay Lohan might now be given a deal that would instead sentence her to 90 days on just house arrest rather than jail time or even rehab.
Yet insiders have made it clear that Lindsay Lohan is “adamant” against that punishment as well, and is simply “over” house arrest or the plea deal. In that case, it’s likely LiLo may face trial this March 18. If convicted of her charges, however, it is very possible that Lohan will need to serve time behind bars.
