Lohan house arrest... there's a headline that people are not surprised to see. Lindsay Lohan has been offered house arrest by a judge after lying to police and violating her probation. Yes, all of this LiLo drama is still going on. On March 9, TMZ reported that Lohan has been offered a punishment of 90-day house arrest... but will she take it?
According to Lohan's lawyer, Lindsay is willing to serve some amount of time on house arrest, but sources close to the troubled actress say she wants nothing to do with staying home with an ankle monitor.
A Lohan house arrest agreement could be reached pending the outcome of her lawyer, Mark Heller, and the prosecution's negotiations. If Lindsay decides that she'd rather go to trial rather than stay home for a few months, she could wind up in jail. According to TMZ, LiLo could spend months behind bars -- the kind that don't serve drinks.
"Sources connected with the case tell us there's a 75% chance the case will go to trial on March 18th. If Lindsay rolls the dice and is convicted, she faces months of ACTUAL jail time (sic)," TMZ reports.
House arrest is the way Lohan should go, but she is stubborn and it's clear that she does not like to be told what to do.
