Logitech has today announced its latest Bluetooth speaker - the X300 Mobile Wireless Stereo Speaker.

This new speaker features angled drivers that widen the sound spectrum, while Logitech says it adds "precise bass response". The speaker has a range of 30 feet and can also be used for phone calls, as with previous wireless speakers.

Jeffery Cheung, product manager for wireless speakers at Logitech said that the company "designed this stereo speaker on a completely new acoustic platform, strategically positioning the drivers to face upward and outward to deliver expansive sound that can help take your mobile entertainment to the next level.”

Indeed this new speaker has a distinct look, standing out from other Bluetooth speakers released by Logitech, and offers five hours of playback on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

According to the company, the speaker will be available in the U.S. in June and in select countries in Asia, while starting in August, it will get released in Europe. The MSRP for the speaker is $69.99.
