In a report sent to Examiner.com two days ago Logitech has revealed its newest wireless gaming mouse the G602. Logitech touts 250 hours of non-stop lag-free wireless play with Logitech’s Delta Zero sensor.
The mouse can actually run for 1400 hours in non-gaming/Endurance mode. This would likely be good for everyday use. Once you are ready to game you would switch to Performance mode which as stated above will give you 250 hours of non-stop gaming. The controller also features mostly mechanical switches which gives it a durable build. Additionally it has 11 programmable buttons to set as you like.
The Logitech G602 is set to be available this September for $79.99. Like most other Logitech gaming products the G602 will take advantage of the Logitech gaming software to allow adjustable DPI and set macros for the extra mouse keys to use.
The G602 will need 2 AA batteries to work, which is unfortunate as it being rechargeable is preferred since finding 2 AA batteries during a gaming session could be tricky. With that being said the 250 hour goal in gaming mode is impressive. It will be interesting to see if the G602 can meet these goals.
