The DMV area has notoriously been known to breed some of the most highly regarded and supreme lyricists on the microphone, and steering himself right into the forefront of the Hip-Hop world is budding emcee Logic, the 24 year-old Visionary Music Group/Def Jam Records artist who not only made headlines by nabbing XXL Freshmen honors last year, but has received a stamp of approval from Rap enthusiasts in which have taken a liking to the diligent rhyme-spitter. Over the course of the last four years, the lauded Maryland native has pumped out project after project, releasing various mixtapes during this tireless stretch – and caught the ears of one named No I.D., the well-renowned producer from the Windy City, who now serves as an exec at Def Jam – and whose work has also been attached to the likes of: Common, Nas, Big Sean and Kanye West.

Now, alongside each other, the marvelous pair has emancipated a numerous of solid releases throughout much of this short-passed year, and has now called upon on one of the aforementioned artists for a little bit of assistance – with a newly released single entitled “Alright,” featuring some rather flaming and ear-bending lines from GOOD Music representative Big Sean – as the two go back and forth over a slowed-up yet intoxicating instrumental laced by Tae Beast. The track arrives roughly a week after Logic’s previous release, “While You Wait,” a soulful joint (that speaks on when and if his anticipated LP release is near), in which has surprisingly racked up a staggering 201k plays on Soundcloud in 8 days.
