'Locke & Key' eyed by MTV

Online the interested took a few minutes and watched the later set loose sneak peak trailer of "Locke & Key" seen at July's San Diego Comic-Con,while unknown but to those involved MTV showed enough interest to view the pilot.

Deadline reports a DVD pilot - also viewed by SDCC '11 conventioneers - had been sent to the proramming Chief of MTV, David Janollari. "Locke & Key" has been one of the high profile pilot seasons of recent months nomadically in search of a network.

"Wonder Woman" undergoing a more arid wandering, stint of acceptance and quick turn around back into vagabond stratum. MTV might be the tipping point the suspense thriller needs.

The iconic international cable network is home venue for the urban fantasy comedy "Teen Wolf", and has done Marvel's enduring frontrunner Spider-Man justice with a pop cultural phenom of an animated series.

"Locke & Key" at its core builds around family tragedy and rejuvenation, only to have horrific torrentials importune to break the overcoming bonds.

MTV's central demographic base could provide a pillar audience at the start, but the later adjoining on the part of the comics fanbase and horror TV avids could provide solid ratings on a pilot season. 

Deadline's report states budgets for necessary paranormal effects may also reason a network pick-up evades the "Locke & Key" pilot season.
