Loch March Golf and Country Club gets set to welcome league players

Loch March Golf and Country Club is sending out league invitations to those men and women who like to play their golf in a social setting where fun ranks No. 1.

The west-end full-service facility offers three weekly leagues. The men play Wednesday evenings from May 7 to Sept. 10 while the women tee off in the mornings or evenings on Thursdays from May 8 to Sept. 11.

Since Loch March began hosting leagues in 2011, the get-togethers have proven to be great opportunities for the players to catch up with friends, meet new people or find regular golfing partners.

Here are the features:

Men’s Wednesday Evenings

  • May 7 – Sept. 10 (19 weeks)
  • Nine holes, competitions, games, prizes, specially prepared dinner specials each week
  • Starting time approximately 5:30 p.m.
  • A clinic will be held once a month at 4 p.m.
  • Banquet dinner on Sept. 10

Women’s Thursday Mornings

  • May 8 – Sept. 11 (19 weeks)
  • Nine holes, competitions, games, prizes, specially prepared dinner specials each week
  • Starting time between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
  • A clinic will be once a month after the golf
  • Banquet dinner on Sept. 11

Women’s Thursday Evenings

  • May 8 – Sept. 11 (19 weeks)
  • Nine holes, competitions, games, prizes, specially prepared dinner specials each week
  • Starting time approximately 5:30 p.m.
  • Golf Clinic once a month on predetermined dates at 4 pm
  • Banquet dinner on Sept. 11 to be combined with the morning league

The cost to join each league for the 19-week season is $581.95, tax included.

Loch March is an exclusively public facility. There are five sets of tee boxes measuring more than 7,000 yards from the tips to 4,596 yards from the front tees.

The course is located at 1755 Old Carp Rd., Kanata.
