While not all of them are overly elusive, the Golden Eggs of Angry Birds can sometime prove a little difficult to achieve and therefore need some extra coaching as to how to get them. Here is a list of the up-to-date locations of all 24 Golden Eggs in the original Angry Birds game and how they can be unlocked as playable levels.
1.) Pause any level and press the HELP button marked with a question mark. Go through the instruction screens and merely touch the egg that appears on the White Bird instructional screen. That is of course after you've unlocked the bird.
2.) Mighty Hoax level 5-19: Located on the right above the rocket ship. Reach by using a yellow or white bird.
3.) Poached Eggs level 2-2: Destroy the beach ball.
4.) Get three stars on all levels of Poached Eggs.
5.) Touch the CREDITS button marked with an "i" and watch them all the way through for an egg.
6.) Poached Eggs level 1-8: Tap the treasure chest a couple times. For PC & Mac users - Depress the caps-lock key, click and hold the left mouse button over the treasure chest, and type "open."
7.) Get three stars on all levels of Mighty Hoax.
8.) Double-touch the sun below the levels on the episode select screen.
9.) Mighty Hoax level 4-7: On top of the cliff off to the right - hit it with a yellow bird.
10.) Danger Above level 6-14: Far right under the treehouse is a golden balloon. Break it with a boomerang bird or by bouncing a yellow bird off the tree and into it.
11.) Danger Above level select screen: Keep moving screens as far to the right as you can and it will be hiding past the last group of levels.
12.) Get three stars on all levels of Danger Above.
13.) Danger Above level 8-15: Use a boomerang bird or bounce a yellow bird off of the trampoline to get the egg located directly under the slingshot.
14.) Big Setup level 9-14: Off to the far right is an egg under a hard hat - use a boomerang bird to hit it.
15.) Big Setup level 10-3: Destroy the duck sitting underneath the bridge.
16.) Big Setup level 11-15: Use a boomerang bird to hit the egg hiding to the left below the slingshot.
17.) Get three stars on all levels of Big Setup.
18.) Ham 'Em High level 12-12: Rather difficult but you must destroy the trophy sitting in the middle of the level.
19.) Ham 'Em High level 13-10: Zoom out and shoot a white bird towards the upper right side of the screen. Hit it at the right time to launch him up and get the egg.
20.) Ham 'Em High level 14-4: Another egg sitting on a high, far right cliff. Use a yellow bird and shoot him way up and aim him correctly for the zoom to get the egg.
21.) Get three stars on all levels of Ham 'Em High.
22.) Ham 'Em High level 13-12: The Super Bowl / Rio egg which can be found by zooming out, shooting a white bird backward, and dropping the egg bomb on the back side of the hill.
23.) Mine and Dine level 15-12: Aim a yellow bird at a high level and use the zoom to get the egg sitting on top of the ridge.
24.) Mine and Dine level 16-9: Kind of a tricky one to get and will require a couple birds. The egg is sitting on top of the cave off to the far right. Use one yellow bird to take out the stone structure above your slingshot as it will help you a bit in your aim. Up next, use another yellow bird and use the zoom right when you need to.
