On March 2, 2013 Northern Championship Wrestling will present "Maple Valley Showdown" in Nashville, MI featuring a number of Ohio wrestlers looking to branch out, expand their wrestling horizon and represent not only their beloved sport but also their home state. The show will have and eight man tournament to crown a new United States Wrestling Champion with veteran Sherman Tank, a TNA GutCheck hopeful, Vladik Vornorff, a former Russian Soldier who was summarily dismissed from the Red Army after he kept asking for more during the "Dedovshchina" and The Painkillers (Jacob/Jake Hollows) will be in tag team action.
Tank, who is well known for his enviable matches while wrestling for WAR Wrestling and OCW has been making a name for himself in the Mid-Atlantic area recently. "I am looking forward to going to NCW and coming home with the US title," Tank said. "I will not lose on March 2, the other seven, they will never be the same."
Vornoff, who is quickly gaining a reputation for brutality in the ring added "the Russian Army did not want me, could not keep me, American's cannot handle me. I feel no pain, I deliver pain and this night there will be seven people, seven slimy American's who will find new definition for pain. I will be US Champion..."
The PainKillers are one of the most exciting and explosive tag teams in the Mid-West and are former WAR Wrestling Tag Team Champions will bring a high energy yet sadistic style of wrestling to their match with the equally as brutal Evans Boys.
Carter Mason, Kid Hybrid and Mad Dragon will square off in a Triple Threat Match for the NCW Northern Heavyweight Title.
