Local triathlon offering free 'triathlon 101' classes

The Trinona Triathlon is again offering a day of triathlon clinics that they're calling "Triathlon 101: a free clinic for newbies and novices."

The clinic will allow you to get great insight on Trinona, the sport of triathlon, nutrition and training tips, help with transition area, and bike maintenance. The nutrition tips will be from a dietitian at Life Time Fitness, the bike maintenance portion will be given by a local pro triathlete and coach, and tips for transition and gear will be led by a Kona Ironman triathlete and a Boston Marathon finisher.

The clinic is head at TRIA in Bloomington, MN on Saturday, April 13 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Registration is free, but space is limited. Go here to register.

There will be some special giveaways from TRIA, Trinona, and Gear West.
