What are you doing May 16 and 17 ? Staying in, watching TV? Want to see members from the Original Dead End Kids play on stage? How about WhiteFoxx, The Bloody Stools, Rough Dymond and a host of other bands? It's going to happen at the Savoy. It's just right over the Tacony Palmyra Bridge at Remmington Ave. in Pennsauken NJ. This event, is put on by Bullwinkle Entertainment.

"It's a reunion of bands that used to play Bonnies in Atco NJ", said Mike Bullwinkle. "Bonnies used to have a ton of local acts there, then they got some national acts, such as Ace Frehley, Rob Zombie even played his first local gig there", Bullwinkle said. Each band will be on for about 25 to 40 minutes, he said.

This is so big and so many people want to do this that "The only way is to have it span over two days". Due to a cancellation, the Dead End Kids will do a complete show. Go on the Bullwinkle Facebook page link above. The band is taking requests. This event even features John Corrabi as the special guest. "He played with Motley Crue for five years", Bullwinkle said.

Tickets are available through the website. Or you can get them at the door. There is a VIP reception with John Corrabi and there is an afternoon BBQ on Saturday. You can but a two day pass or each individual day. This event promises to be huge locally. "None of these bands are doing a cover set, it's just about all originals", Bullwinkle said.

"To put this on, we are flying Bonnie up from Florida, the work takes the better part of a year to do this. We have to secure the location, book the bands, get the logistics set up, get insurance and get a PA in here. We want it loud but not so loud that you cannot talk to people you have not seen in years", he said.

Parking is plentiful and it's free, off street parking. Things kick off Friday and Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

You can attend this event for yourself and experience it firsthand or when you read about it here, you will wish you had.
