Authmentis is a Hard Rock/Metal band out of Reno Nevada. Formed in 2005, they have played on a regular basis for the last 5+ years and with one album under their belt, "Orignal Mind" released in April of 2007 and one on the way "House of Shadows" due to be released this summer, they have plenty of material to rock with at shows.   

They are influenced by bands like, Metallica, Tool, Slipknot, Hurt, Avenged Sevenfold, KSE, Chevelle, Black Sabbath, Five Fingered Death Punch and Johnny Cash.

The current line-up for Authmentis is, Sam Spivey (vocals, guitar), Matt Spivey (bass), Casey Alden (lead guitar) and newest member Justin Kelly (drums)   

Band founder Sam Spivey says, "We are glad to add opening for a national act "Saving Abel" at the Knitting Factory Concert House/Reno on March 11, to our list of accomplishments which include playing live at Lawlor Events Center (during a bout for the Battleborn Derby Demons) and at least two previous Knitting Factory Shows, four paying acoustic sets at Northstar Ski @ Tahoe, a mini tour of small venues dubbed the "Winter Rock Fest" (put together by Ali Alden) and some successful private parties. January (2010), we held a show for the C.O.C. (Confederation of Clubs)  the organization of motorcycle clubs in the northern Nevada area in their honor for the hard work and charity they do selflessly year round".

The March 11th show at the Knit where they opened for Saving Able and Red Line Chemistry is where this examiner first saw them and was very impressed. The set lasted around 30 minutes and went like this,

As of now, Authmentis is still unsigned. In this examiners opnion, that won't be to much longer.
 
Authmentis will be playing "Live" on March 24, 2011 at The Studio On 4th in Reno.
