Robert Battles of the local public affairs programs "Pass It On" (for WGOK-AM (900)/WXQW-AM (660)) and "Rise and Shine" (for WALA-TV) won the primary election for the position of representing the fourth district of the Mobile County Public School System last Tuesday, June 3rd (this means his name would appear on a ballot for the position along with the names of candidates for other public positions in a general election expected to take place on the Tuesday of November 4th).
