Traveling all the way to Chicago, local nail artist Marina LoPresto took 1st place in the "French Twist" and "Hand Painted Nail Art" competitions at ISSE Midwest Beauty Show.
During competition Marina executed Stiletto shaped pink and white acrylic nails with a butterfly design on her model Veronika Fedianova's one hand in an hour an fourty-five minutes.
The hand painted nail art competition themed "Amusement Parks" could be done prior to competition and is then submitted for judging. Using ten nail tips, Marina hand painted each one so that when put together, make a panoramic picture of perfection. 100 hours of hard work was rewarded with a beautiful 1st Place trophy.
Marina can be found at Indulgence Salon in Fort Myers, Florida. She works Tuesday through Saturday, but is incredibly busy so please book an appointment in advance! Marina has trained all over the United States as well as Russia. She loves a challenge and is extremely creative and kind. Becoming a nail educator is one of her upcoming goals for 2013.
