Featuring a highly anticipated gallery installation by JB Snyder, Zachary Dean Glover, and Jeff Hoops, the show will mark the unveiling of more than twenty original pieces. The opening night reception will feature music by Mike Cause and Just Chris, and refreshments will be provided. If you are interested in taking any of the pieces home with you, do inquire with the hosts, as artwork will be available for purchase.
Creating grand landscapes of vivid color and geometric design, JB Snyder’s murals color the downtown Phoenix area. His work is displayed in downtown hot spots 9 Gallery, Lost Leaf, Distrito Restaurant, the Saguaro Hotel, Gringo Star and Modern Manor, just to name a few; and throughout the architecture of Roosevelt Row. Besides the show opening tomorrow, JB Snyder is also working on large-scale mural pieces on Sixth Street and a collaborative project with Angel Diaz, Tato Caraveo, and Djentrification on Third Street and Roosevelt.
Not only is he a talented artist, JB Snyder is also an active member of the growing small business economy downtown, opening Fifth Street Paint Supply early this year. Snyder and his business partner, Jeff Hoops, opened the paint supply store to fill the need of artists like themselves, who sought high quality paints for their work, but were unable to find a local store selling anything that met their needs. Fifth Street paint shop is located at 915 North Fifth Street in downtown Phoenix, and is open daily from noon until 11:00pm.
