Local MMA Fighter's New Year Resolutions

Today is the last day of the year 2012 and many of you are pondering on what promise you will make yourself for the new year of 2013, we know this to be our New Year's Resolution. Our MMA fighters not only make this promise to themselves they make it a life style. I spoke to just a few and asked them about their New Year's Resolution and here is their response:

TJ Brown: Um I haven't put much thought to it but I'd say just stay on the right path, put my family (son) first & keep chasing my dreams

Miles ThePhantom Brown: TO BECOME V3 Champion I'm back at training and I feel I can take on anyone. I'm way too talented, too popular, and relentless not to be back in the V3 Cage...2013-Year of the Phantom....YEAR OF THE WARRIOR!..LET'S GO V3 LEGION!

Nick Davis: My new years resolution will be to keep improving and be the best I can be. 2012 was rocky but I have all intention of taking over the 145 division in 13' !

Marquese TheBeast Branch: "My New Years resolution is to train hard then smash Ronni Lawrence face in"
# keep God first
# stay healthy
# be the best that I can be
# get sponsors
# stay undefeated
# go pro

Anthony Taylor Thomas: Yes be a better father, a better fighter, and a better man, show others how god has helped me an how he can help them. Do everything the rite way this year.

Jesse Parker: Mainly just wanting to be a better fighter and training partner for my team and teammates at Ronin Martial Arts! Also just learning and getting better in the gym and on the mats when I'm not training for a fight and pushing harder then ever before in 2013! I went 6-1 in 2012 I want to beat that record and go far and beyond that record in 2013! I want to be the best 135er and the best 125er in the mid south in 2013 going undefeated and my goal is to win the V3 Bantamweight belt and win the V3 Flyweight belt!!! Just really be a better person and fighter in 2013...
