Local man arrested on child porn charges faces up to 20 years

Alexandria, La - Lloyd E. Moore Jr., 36, was arrested and booked into Allen perish's Correctional Center facing charges of child pornography. If he is found guilty he will do anywhere from 5 to 20 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections as well as face charges up to 50,000 dollars.

Moore will then have to register as a sex offender after his release. He will not be a candidate for parole, pre-release programs or suspended sentences under Louisiana's sex offender laws.

Lat year in Elizabeth a search warrant of Lloyd E. Moore's home rendered evidence on external hard drives and computers of child pornography that had been downloaded. These items were seized and taken into evidence.

The search warrant was actually attainable because of the organization called Operation Child Watch who had found just cause to investigate Moore's online activities.

The State Police ran forensic analysis of the devices and found that Moore was indeed responsible downloading child pornography.

Operation Child Watch has rescued many children from the hands of potential abusers, and they are working diligently to continue to do so. This company also tries to aid in the rescue of children being sexually exploited online.
