November 27, 2011 - Michael Lohan, father to actress Lindsay Lohan, is recovering from a heart procedure. He was treated at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida on November 25th.
Lohan, 51, resides in West Hollywood, California. He has had past heart symptoms, so a stent was inserted in his heart at Gulf Coast, as he was already in the Southwest Florida area due to "legal matters."
Lohan married singer and dancer Donata "Dina" Sullivan in 1985, and their first of four children, Lindsay, was born on July 2, 1986. They separated when Lindsay was three, and later reunited.
In the early 1990s Lohan became a Wall Street trader on the floor of the commodity exchange.
In 1996 Michael and Dina had their fourth child. By then 10-year-old Lindsay had landed the role of the twins in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. The rest of Lindsay's film and life is history, although she is making more!
Michael Lohan has also been involved in various television proposals, including the Michael Lohan Reality Project, a 2007 series produced by Frozen Pictures, which followed his life, work and efforts to reconnect with his daughter and family.
As of now Lohan is still recovering at Gulf Coast, and sources do not know when he will be released (from medical or legal matters).
