Local fashion rocks Coolidge Park with an edgy vibe

Leo Handmade Gallery

When Bridget Miller moved to Chattanooga, TN from Asheville, NC she decided the city needed a store that sold handmade goods that fit her style: something a little edgy, maybe a bit hipster, but definitely pushing the envelope of cool.

Bridget partnered with John Hall to create Leo Handmade Gallery; a boutique that features handmade clothing, jewelry, accessories, journals, etc.; located in Coolidge Park.

Leo's merchandise is a great representation of the local talent (more than half the store's merchandise is from Chattanooga) as well as talent in Asheville, NC; Austin, TX (an area with a very large culture of handmade fashions); San Francisco, CA: to name a few.

Last week I featured one of Bridget's dresses in my "Friday's fashion hit or miss." The dress was, of course, a hit and received rave complements from everyone. Bridget's designs play with geometry and asymmetry in a way that makes even the casual observer take notice.

If you have what it takes to walk the edge of fashion forwardness, direct your attention to Bridget Miller and and Leo Handmade Gallery.

I saw one of my favorite San Fran-based card companies at Leo Handmade and had to buy a few. They also have a few cool handmade journals, books, wallets and small gift items.
