Ah spring is in the air and so far March in Colorado has graced us with fantastic and uncharacteristically warm weather. If you haven’t quite decided yet what to do for your children’s upcoming Spring Break, don’t worry there’s still time. If you’re looking for a luxurious destination, with many family friendly activities on site, family package pricing, and a location just south of the Denver Metro area then look no further.

The Broadmoor is a wonderful resort to visit for Spring Break and is located in Colorado Springs. The amenities include a full service spa, a top-notch golf course, paddle boats, a tennis court which has been named the #3 tennis resort in the country according to Tennis Magazine, and three lovely spacious pools. The Outdoor Infinity Pool (open during summer only) has two water slides, the year-round indoor Spa Pool is located within the spa building, and an outdoor two lane heated Lap Pool which is also open year-round for your enjoyment.

The Spring Break Getaway special is offered from March 1, 2012 – May 16, 2012 and includes a standard guest room for one night (additional nights may be added), kids 10 and under eat free at all Broadmoor cafés and restaurants (Golden Bee is one of me and my girls’ favorites), complimentary access to the onsite Broadmoor movie theater, and a 40% discount on the adult ticket price at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo; to name a few package amenities. Pricing starts at $95 per person based on double occupancy. This resort will definitely allow you and your family to slow down and relish in a wonderful and relaxing experience.

The Broadmoor is located at 1 Lake Avenue Colorado Springs, CO 80906. For hotel reservations call 719.577.5775 or 866.837.9520.
