After five hours of work, one of the newest art exhibitions is now in place for viewing at the Chula Vista, CA Superior Court house. The exhibition is of the Dunne's family collective art work with all six family members contributing to the exhibition. Jack, the Father, Heidi, the Mother, Aliah 14, Jonathon 12, Kodiak 11 and Jenna 8 all belong to, "The Art Kids of San Diego County," and work on their art throughout the week but come together each Saturday to practice their art.
The children are home schooled by their mother while Jack, the father, is serving his country as a chief in the Navy. All the family are very talented in the realm of art and by looking at the exhibition one can see their abilities speak well for their talents. The children entered this year's San Diego County Fair and all came home with first place blue ribbons. Kodiak, came home with a little extra as he entered two sculptured pieces, one of them winning, "Best of Show." Aliah who loves to draw and color Anime'. She would like to draw anime' for a profession. Jonathon enjoys draw more of the Gothic style of art as he likes to place blood throughout his art. Kodiak is of course very strong in the area of sculpting and Jenna well she just loves to place the paint on the canvas and create new pieces of art.
This is their first art exhibition as a family but one thing the exhibit shows is how art can indeed create a stronger bond within the family group. As one can see by the photos of their exhibit, the Dunne family has really produced some excellent pieces of art.
