This coming Thursday SLCD's Woodside campus will host a special tour of its school for parents interested in enrolling their kids there. SLCD is involved in teaching students with language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, and mental retardation among other health impairments. Description: Come take a walk through NYC's other Chinatown located in Queens. Unlike its Manhattan counterpart, this community is predominantly Taiwanese rather than Cantonese in nature. Come check out the various office buildings, hotels, residential condos, specialty shops, cultural institutions and malls run by members of this thriving immigrant community. Afterwards tourists can break for lunch on dim sum if they wish.
