Rpwds.com, a local Chicago website and mobile site builder-designer, has today announced the start of new nine-week online computer schedule to begin Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Early Bird classes will start from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. (Central Standard Time), while evening classes will be held from 7p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Each class will have a live instructor. Books will be offered for an extra charge.
“This is where you can park those annoying people who need to know Microsoft Office in their job hung so they can learn on their own and you won’t have to hate them at the end of the day,” claimed Dee Rahim, Founder/CEO of RPWDS. She created the computer classes for people who were having a hard time coordinating their schedule with those of classes offered at the local community college.
The January 3rd, 8 a.m. online Microsoft Office 2007 class will kick-start the nine-week computer course using www.AnyMeeting.com.
Registration is now open for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Windows 7 and Computer Basics.
“We will be using www.AnyMeeting.com for classes, and prospective participants should check their computers for the necessary updates before the class starts,” said Dee, adding that the classes are for early risers who have access to a computer, unemployed and people who need their software questions answered, but can’t find a class to fit their schedule.
“We want early risers, unemployed and those stuck in their current jobs to register for these classes. We do offer discounts for senior citizens with the discount code, SENIOR,” she added. It’s $13 off the original price.
“At RPWDS, we are also doing our part in this down turned economy. We have dropped our price for résumés and are doing Résumé Makeovers too for $9.99,” added Dee.
