The dog day care facility Bark and Play in Brooklyn, New York was described as housing animals in unsanitary conditions and resulted in the ASPCA arresting the day manager for animal cruelty due to the neglect the pets suffered, including severe urine burns from having been left in unclean cages for so long.

We have a lot of doggy day care choices here in New York City, but always be vigilant about who you entrust your dog to. Inspect the facility and if there are any 'no go' areas during your visit, you need to wonder why.
