A healthy happy pet is every canine owner’s greatest wish. That’s why Eukanuba has held the 28-day Challenge! The Challenge asked dog owners to observe their dog’s transformation over the course of twenty-eight days while being fed Eukanuba. To enter the Challenge Champion Contest, which lasted from February 15 to April 30, 2011, owners were asked to to submit a short written note of hundred words or less describing their dog’s experience. Eukanuba received many responses, including many from Massachusetts. Five top dogs have been chosen and the “Challenge Champion” will be announced on June 6, 2011.
Alex, an eight month old Dalmatian from Beverly, MA has made the grade in Eukanuba’s Challenge Champion Contest. He had an amazing experience with the beneficial nutrition of Eukanuba pet food. Over the short twenty-eight day period, Alex had a higher stamina, could jump higher than his owners ever expected, and was more excited about meal time. He was in such good health by the twenty-eighth day of the Challenge that Alex received a five point major reserve during his first weekend competing in show.
It’s great to see a local dog and pet owner benefit so much from the superior nutrition of Eukanuba! Alex has a great chance to win and the prize you might ask? As a finalist, Alex and his four canine counterparts from all over the United States have won a year’s supply of Eukanuba dog food. When announced on June 6, 2011, the “Challenge Champion” will receive the “pink carpet treatment” with a Hollywood-style photo and video shoot, appear in the September issue of Dog Fancy magazine, and get to star in an upcoming Eukanuba print advertisement. Needless to say, Alex is becoming not only a healthier and happier pet, but a star in the dog world!
When questioned on what Eukanuba is looking for in a winner a representative of the company, Vicki Seiler, had this to say in reply, “We are looking for a dog who went from good to extraordinary after taking the Eukanuba 28-Day Challenge and has an overall inspiring story. All of our finalists have amazing stories, so the competition is definitely stiff."
