Local craft beer on tap this Saturday at Raleigh’s Brewgaloo festival

You might say “beer me” a few times on Saturday, April 26 at Brewgaloo, the downtown Raleigh festival presented by Shop Local Raleigh that will showcase local craft breweries. Admission into the festival is free.

Over 47 local craft breweries will be on hand at Raleigh’s City Plaza from 2p.m. until 10 p.m., including Big Boss, Mother Earth, Mystery and Raleigh Brewing (check out the complete line-up of breweries here).

Beer tokens and taster cards can be purchased ahead of time for the event. Five beer tokens cost $25. Taster cards for five, three-ounce pours are available for $5. At Brewgaloo, each token will get you one pint of beer. One token will also get you a taster card for five, three-ounce pours. Tickets, VIP admission and merchandise can be purchased here.

Local food trucks Chirba Chirba, Big Al’s, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, Hibachi Xpress, Only Burger, American Meltdown, Café Prost and more will be at Brewgaloo serving food throughout the day.

Live music on three stages will begin at 2p.m. and will include performances from Inflowential, Acoustic Manner and Sensory Expressions (see the music line-up here).
