Although the gifts under the tree have long been opened, Nutrilys Del Mar, a San Diego marine-based supplement company, is offering a special free gift up until Jan. 31, 2014.

For those who buy two bottles of Nutrilys Del Mar’s Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon Oil, they will receive a free copy of “The Omega-3 Effect,” a book authored by William Sears, MD and his son, James Sears, MD of the acclaimed afternoon television show, The Doctors.

“At the start of the New Year, everyone seems to be making a resolution to get healthier by adding wild salmon on their dinner plates and ultra-pure Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil supplements into their diets,” said the spokesperson from Nutrilys Del Mar. “We wanted to give everyone a jumpstart not only by offering one of the best supplements out on the market, but also a book which highlights the benefits of this amazing oil rich in omegas. Not many know that the founder of our company, Thierry Lerond, was mentioned in the book for his knowledge on omegas, as well”

The doctors describe omegas as a super nutrient for living longer and highlight how a diet rich in omega-3s can promote the following:

Brain function
Healthy Heart
• Better vision
• Weight control and maintenance
• Mood leveler
Less inflammation

“Here’s to a New Year filled with health, wellness, and happiness because we will be feeling better with Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon Oil supplements.”
