Local community cats need a barn home

A family of cats will soon lose their home at the Griffiss Business & Technology Park in Rome, NY.

Allison Nickerson, founder of R-CATS, was contacted by a Spring Farm CARES volunteer about the mother and four kittens. The volunteer is coordinating sterilizations and vaccines through the Spring Farm CARES feral spay/neuter clinic that is scheduled for April 8, 2014 with the cats' caretaker. Unfortunately for the cats, after this they will be homeless, as their current home because it is going to be razed.

To help provide these cats with a home, and to keep rodents in a bran at bay, contact Allison Nickerson at alnicker@verizon.net.
