Willott Christian Academy in St. Peters will be hosting a curriculum sale on June 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. through noon. The school is located at 1610 Willott Road in St. Peters.
Despite being voted the Number One Private Christian school in the area for two years in a row, Willott Christian Academy in St. Peters has made the decision to close the elementary and middle school classrooms. Because of this, the school is placing their curriculum for sale to the public and spreading the news among homeschool groups in the area.
This is an opportunity for homeschoolers to save a ton of money on curriculum. Like with most solid homeschool curriculum choices, supplying top-name publisher books for an entire family is often quite pricey. Sales like this one don’t come along often.
Most of the curriculum for sale is A Beka and Bob Jones, often referred to as BJU Press. These are two well-known Christian publishers that develop curriculum intended for use by Christian schools or homeschoolers who teach from a Christian worldview.
The news of the sale is being shared officially through reliable individuals through social media and word of mouth. There is no mention of the school closure on their website other than to explain the 2014-15 school year will be done on a new model of preschool and kindergarten only, and there is limited details about what will be available or at what prices are being shared word of mouth.
The school was recently in full operation for Kindergarten through 8th Grade, so plan on finding curriculum in those grade levels especially from First Grade up. Show up on Tuesday, June 24, to be among the first to peruse what is available.
