Local authors Christine Cacciatore and Jennifer Starkman have published their second novel: Cat, Charmed, the second book in the Whitfield Witch series. The first book in the series is Baylyn, Bewitched.

In the first book: Baylyn, Bewitched, Baylyn Travers is a witch whose magic interferes with her love life—sometimes in comical ways. She meets and falls for the handsome Declan Hughes, but in order to make it work, she needs to get her power under control.

In the second book: Cat, Charmed, Cat Hendricks finds she has been gifted with magical powers she never asked for and certainly can’t control. If there’s one thing Cat loves, it is control. She crosses paths with the playboy Devin Hughes, someone who lives life by a far more carefree standard—but neither can ignore the sparks they create.

Both books are available for any ereader at and Barnes & Noble, as well as Smashwords.

Chris and Jenny were both raised in Plainfield, a quick bike ride from the Plainfield Public Library. They are both happily married, with three children apiece and absurdly large dogs. Chris also has a granddaughter who has her grandma wound around her little finger.
