The fans of the Grammys got an epic final performance on Sunday night that had LL Cool J on the microphone sharing lyrics. Combining some serious talent on stage at the Staples Center for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, the super-group segment blew the socks off the audience as Travis Barker, Chuck D, LL Cool J, Tom Morello and DJ Z-Trip rocked the award show and it appeared the performance went on long after the cameras went dark. Combining the musical talents, it was obvious it was one of the best music moments of the night.
The super secret performance was under lock and key when it came to details prior to the show. Travis Barker did post a photo of himself in the studio with LL Cool J and Z-Trip, but nobody was for sure the collaboration being developed. According to fans the surprise was worth the wait as those folks who saw the final moments of the show really enjoyed the high powered finale.
