Liza Minnelli to celebrate her 67th Birthday with Alan Cumming at The Town Hall

Suffragists founded it, Marian Anderson sang here, and Garrison Keillor likes to stop by for a few yarns about Minnesota. Founded in 1921, The Town Hall, in New York City’s Theatre district, is a non-profit National Historic site and features a line-up of events ranging from world music, jazz, gospel, blues, folk, show tunes, political humor, theatre, dance, to its critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year Series, and more.

See Academy Award winner Liza Minelli (film, Cabaret) and Alan Cumming who won a Tony for his work as the Emcee in the Broadway revival of that John Kander and Fred Ebb musical, team up for Liza’s 67th Birthday celebration on March 13th.A second show has been added for Thurs. March 14th. They’ll duet on on familiar signature songs in Minnelli’s trunk, and some favorites from Cabaret. Cumming will share his renditions of songs from Annie Lennox to original compositions. These old friends have amazing stories and songs to share as they talk about their adventures in the business of show.
