Ephesians 3:16-19 (NLT)
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Life on the edge seems to appeal to most people. People live testing the parameters and boundaries of life to see if there is more on the other side. Is it possible that the grass could be greener on the other side of the fence? Satisfaction seems impossible. Contentment is a novel idea considering just about the time you think you have found it – you only want something more. We are always looking for more. The innate problem is our inability to trust. The experiences of life impact one’s ability to trust. We all have definite trust issues that are the most difficult to overcome. Most families are clearly dysfunctional no matter how hard they work to hide it. People cannot name a single person that they trust implicitly if they are being completely honest. Trust is defined as reliance on and confidence in the truth, reliability and worth of a person or thing. In a society that promotes self-help and self-sufficiency, it is clear that the only one that the world thinks we should trust is ourselves. This conflicts with our internal composition that is relational. We seek love on a consistent basis no matter how strong our front. Sin has tainted love and created a void in our trust so that we have no confidence in anything including love. This would explain why most couples opt to live together or at the very least sleep together before they are married in the hope that they will be more confident in the commitment of marriage. Nothing could be further from the Truth or more in line with the lie of the enemy. People have more social media acquaintances than true relationships because it is much easier to “unfriend” someone online rather than meet them face-to-face. Soul ties are created with people and things so that we are so wrapped up in this world that it is impossible to comprehend the vast parameters of God’s Love for us. We simply do not trust that He will love us unfailingly and unconditionally. This is the tragic end to many love stories that God has written and people have closed the book on – it is impossible to find true love when living on the edge!

Jesus Christ has given us the Holy Spirit for one primary purpose. To prepare us and position us to fully comprehend and receive the fullness of life available living in the midst of God’s Love. The Light of God’s Love reveals glorious and unlimited resources to empower us to live as God’s Precious Children. His Spirit works to prepare our heart to receive His Love and grow deep roots making it fertile and prosperous. Confidence always resolves trust issues even the most tightly bound. These roots produce inner strength that will mend every broken heart and rebuild every violated chamber. He will heal your heart using every painful experience to only further demonstrate the Power of His Love. Why? Why would God go to such tremendous lengths to immerse you in His Love? Why does it matter to Him that we know and understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His Love is? Simple – God is love and He loves you that much. This is not a play on words but a truth that most of God’s People have missed. God loves you. (Period) It doesn’t matter what you have done, who you have done it with or to, where you have gone or the choices that you made when you got there. God’s Love is unconditional, unfailing and forever. The Lord will stop at nothing to allow you to experience His Love in all of its fullness.

Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Do you believe God is able? Most believers will answer “yes” as they believe in the Power and Authority of God. Do you believe that He is at work in you? Many will again answer “yes” because they have seen deliverance and seem to be making better choices in life which can be attributed to the Holy Spirit. Do you believe that God can accomplish more than we might ask or think? “Yes and no” is the response to this question. Yes, He can do all things. But will he is the question? Why would anyone doubt the Lord? Because they do not believe in God’s Love. Why else would people constantly test its borders by trying to live as close to the darkness as they can but still remain in the Light? Human understanding will reject anything that it does not fully comprehend due to lack of trust based on knowledge. There are many people who claim to know God but have no idea how much God loves them or how He loves them so rather than stepping into God’s Love, they constantly see how far they can go before they are disappointed. God’s Love will never disappoint you unless of course we become frustrated due to a lack of knowledge. His Thoughts and Ways are higher than our own. (Isaiah 55:8-9) This not saying that He has a higher standard that is condemning and judgmental because His Grace covered that making way for His Love to overtake our lives. God does more than we think or ask as a byproduct of living in His Love. It is not about what we can do. It is all about what He does for those who remain in His Love. To know His Love and believe it enough to trust Him allows us to strive to live in careful obedience, devoted commitment, faithful only to Him because He loves us the most. It is a love story not a harsh set of rules and regulations that keep us glued to His Word and His Way.

John 1:14-18 (NLT)
So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’” From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

God’s Unfailing Love and Faithfulness have no boundaries. We are the ones who put limitations on it. Ephesians 3:18 does not mean that you will ever find the parameters of His Love but challenges us to experience the fullness of His Love. The Word of God came wrapped in flesh and His Name was Jesus Christ. God’s Unfailing Love and Faithfulness made its home among us so that we could see His Love in living color. Jesus literally showed us God’s Love. God is love. If God is love, and Jesus is representative of His Word wrapped in flesh, then it would be a safe determination that His Word, Will and Way are all about love! Well, you know what people thought about that. Yep, they killed Him. However, since He was God incarnate they could not have done so unless He willingly surrendered His Life as a sacrifice that would forever open the door so God’s Love could fully accessible once and for all. So what’s the problem, why aren’t people running into the overflow of His Power? We do not know God. We do not understand His Love. We are making no effort to be fully informed. The Abundance of God’s Love is an overflow of gracious blessing in the life of a believer one after another. If you are not experiencing these blessings, then it is time to evaluate what we truly believe.

John 3:18-20 (NLT)
“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.”

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is who He said that He was – the Son of God? Do you believe that He died for our sins, weaknesses, healing and deliverance on the Cross rising again on the third day? You are saved. Do you want to escape judgment? Wait, I am saved right. Many people who call themselves saved will sadly discovered that only those who believe are truly saved. Belief will change the way that you live. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. The Blood of Jesus does not cover unbelief. If you believe in the Light of God’s Love, you will love it and come into it. If you call on the Name of the Lord, but remain in love with darkness and sin than you do not believe. To say that you love Jesus yet remain in darkness is a fear response. It means that you do not believe that God’s Love is Unfailing and Unconditional or you would know that the Light is not going to condemn you but embrace you. Faith responds by leaving the darkness behind and coming just as I am to Jesus Christ. It means that you are confident in your belief of the Love of God and fullness of life that He has promised you. Jesus has entrusted us with the Holy Spirit to help us in our weakness. Sin is rampant in this world and unavoidable due to human nature. His Grace is sufficient for you! Love has grown cold but that doesn’t include God’s Love for you. It is unfailing and unconditional no matter what circumstances you are facing or situations to come as a result of this world’s fallibility. The Lord will show Himself faithful and His Love will overflow in all areas of your life surrendered to His Love. The only limitation of God’s Love in our life are the boundaries we set by living in the darkness rather than His Light.

Romans 8:31-34 (NLT)
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Do you believe that God is for you? If God is for us, who could be against us? God is for me. His Love keeps Him close to me. Even when I am not for God or living in His Light, He strives to be close to me and calls me closer. He is still for me in my wanderings. Most people do not believe this statement. They think that they have to do everything the Bible says to have God’s Love. This is not true. God loves us no matter what. Righteousness or right-standing with God through Jesus Christ allows us to fully experience His Unfailing Love and Faithfulness but when we wander it is limited by us not by God. The moment that we step back into right-standing with the Lord – we become immersed in it once again. God’s Love is always there for those who are willing to come and live in it! If you will simply believe that God loves you completely and unconditionally, you would begin to come boldly before Him. His Love will empower you to make the necessary changes to move deeper into His Presence into the Abundance of His Love. It is not a question of is it there, but will you come?

Romans 8:35-39 (NLT)
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is power in a personal revelation of God’s Love. To step fully into it and strive to remain there will turn your faith into confident hope. Over the last two years with all the challenges we have faced in our son’s battle with cancer, I have refuted many lies that the enemy has cast at me with the response, “Because God loves me!” There is no other reason for the Lord to heal our son. There is no other reason for Him to embrace our family so tightly in the midst of heartache so profound. There is no other reason that we have been able to keep walking and not give up with each new recurrence. When the doctor told me that the cancer came back the last time, I was in my office at work. I remember falling to my knees. I was completely devastated as she described the severity of the disease in this occurrence with a shaky voice of great concern. I could not even think. I did not know what to ask God because I had no words. The enemy took my momentary silence as a platform of attack and began to hurl lie after lie at me concerning my child. I just sat there and took it. The last lie I heard was “Why should he heal your kid anyway?” Slowly and effortlessly, my mouth opened with no human breath to support it I whispered, “Because He loves me!” I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from the Love of God. Nothing. The truth is just that NOTHING in all of creation will ever be able to separate us from the Love of God – so why not live in it? Believe that God loves you and it will change your life now and forever. He loves you! When all hell breaks loose - He loves you! When things are going great – He loves you! When you have doubts and fears – He still loves you! When your faith flourishes – God loves you!

Colossians 2:2-3 (NLT)
I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

There is no point to trying to live a good life, make better choices and serve God if you do not accept His Love! His Love changes everything beginning on the inside working its way out! We create many soul ties in life as we are spiritual beings with Eternity in our hearts. God put it there so we could discover His Great Love for us and live in it. The Lord wants to form a strong tie with you today! You must cut ties with darkness and move into the Light of His Love. The strong ties are faith and trust in the Love of God as the foundation of our life and existence in Him through Jesus Christ. The world (the realm of the enemy) will try to discredit God’s Love for His People (all of them). (I John 3:1) Those who choose to live in love will not be fooled. (1 John 2:4-6) Step into the Love of God and choose to live there. Quit testing its parameters for you will find none. He loves you just the way you are in hope that He can satisfy you with His Overflowing Abundance beginning with His Love.

Jude 1:20-21 (NLT)
But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.
