Living in an imperfect world.

In a perfect world, my day would start with a delicious, dark, scalding hot cup of coffee. Stretching would be a joy. I'd sit outside on my patio perched to see the perfect view. I'd be served one of my already approved breakfast meals with another cup of joe. My personal chef would make sure my diet consisted of top 10 foods high in fiber. Since colon cancer can be a real concern for men and women, my concern would lesson knowing my diet is filled with rich, insoluble and soluble fiber. The average American now eats 10 - 15 grams of fiber per day. The recommendation for older children, adolescents, and adults is 20 - 35 grams per day. Younger children will not be able to eat enough calories to achieve this, but it is a good idea to introduce whole grains, fresh fruits, and other high-fiber foods.

Exercise is never the wrong idea for a healthy lifestyle. Weight management, arthritis, cancer, hepatitis, heart disease and depression can be improved with exercise. Exercise increases levels of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine — important neurotransmitters that traffic in thoughts and emotions. You've probably heard of serotonin, and maybe you know that a lack of it is associated with depression. In my perfect world, every day my trainer would find me, encourage me, motivate me, and get me my allotted time of daily exercise. The trainer would be able to work with me on my trouble spots as well as help me adjust to different methods of weight training as my needs changed

In my perfect world preventative screenings, scans and tests would all be done on schedule and I'd get all the results fast. The results would always be accompanied by gold standards to compare my results with the best. Immediately I could turn to my own Dr. Kildare and get started on fixing whatever might need to be fixed.

I'd worry less about my health in my perfect world. So my world isn't as perfect, but it's darn good. Here's a more down to earth plan, one that you could follow too!

You could become a member of a local gym. There's tons to pick from. When choosing a local gym you want to make sure you'll feel comfortable there. Check out the lockers, and the clientele, hours and parking. In my search for a fitness gym, I found a local gym in Yorba Linda, California, Yorba Linda Fitness Gym. And here's a interesting alliance. Yorba Linda Fitness Gym works with Allure Aesthetics Med Spa.

Also, available is Smart/Pure Liposuction. What is Smart/Pure Liposuction (Smart Lipo)? It's a full-body contouring and permanent fat removal. Minimally invasive in-office procedure, performed safely under local tumescent anesthesia, less traumatic than traditional liposuction, greater skin tightening, and minimal bruising and downtime.” Sounds perfect huh?

These are all great suggestions. Being proactive is the real key and can help you put it all together. Be involved in your own health care. Listen to your body. Make sure you get all your numbers checked once a year. Schedule a preventative screening or ultrasound.

And here's to your perfect world,
