In Washington, DC the inauguration activities began this morning with the National Day of Service. The Presidential Inauguration Committee wants everyone in the US and the world to have an opportunity to witness this historic weekend.

Starting today, Livestream video coverage of official events during the weekend of the 57th Presidential Inauguration begins. The livestream will provide Americans with the opportunity to take part in Inaugural events from anywhere in the country.

“This will truly be America’s Inaugural celebration,” said PIC Executive Director David Cusack. “Inviting folks from across the country to join us online is one more way we’re working to make sure all Americans can share in a moment of history.”

The following events will be livestreamed at www.2013pic.org/live and on the official PIC smartphone app: the official swearing-in ceremony on Sunday; the ceremonial swearing-in on Monday; the Inaugural Parade on Monday afternoon and The Commander-in-Chief Ball on Monday night. The Kids’ Inaugural on Saturday evening will be streamed only at www.2013pic.org/live.
