LIVES OF STYLE:
EVERYONE seems to have …wrinkles? What can be done about them?
DR. LISA KANG:
It depends a lot on age. If you’re in your 20s and early 30s, fine lines are the main issue. Young people are becoming smarter by attempting to prevent wrinkles rather than trying to reverse them later. BOTOX® injections help. Just a small amount can help minimize muscle movement, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows (frown lines) and the crow’s feet around the eyes. Non-invasive treatments, such as a light skin resurfacing can also help to reduce fine lines and smooth out skin tone and texture. Overall, protecting skin from sun damage is the number one thing you can do to keep your skin looking youthful and healthy.
