Liverpool have had a frustrating first half. Between flashes of brilliance and flashes of horrid defensive frailty they still find themselves only five points from fifth place and a continued life in European action. However, with the first day of the transfer window now underway on Jan. 1, 2013 they are looking to start making some changes.
One such change has to be the addition of new attacking talent. Reports from the Telegraph have claimed that the club are looking to make a loan signing from French giants Paris Saint Germain for striker Kevin Gameiro.
Despite having only recently joined the club in 2011, Gameiro has been overshadowed by the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic since the summer of 2012 and is looking for a chance to showcase his talents that saw him in the top of the French League scoring charts last season.
The 25-year-old has marked versatility in attack and that is a trait that is near and dear to the heart of Brendan Rodgers is his style of play and tactical decision making. A move for the player would give the Reds another option in an attack that has been starved of choices all season thus far.
