Today, Liverpool Football Club released a 33-man squad for the legendary club's pre-season tour to Boston, Chicago, New York, Charlotte and maybe Miami. Liverpool will face AS Roma at Boston's historic Fenway Park on Wednesday, July 23.
The Reds will depart from John Lennon airport in Liverpool on Sunday, July 20. The squad, led by captain Steven Gerrard, will include new signings Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic. They’ll later be joined by France’s captain Mamadou Sakho and Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
LFC also faced Roma at Fenway in July 2012.

LFC will also take part in the International Champions Cup, facing Olympiacos on Sunday 27 July in Chicago, Manchester City on Wednesday 30 July in New York, followed by AC Milan on Saturday 2 August in Charlotte. The International Champions Cup will see the teams divided into two groups and each will play at least three matches before the winners of Group A and Group B meet in the final at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami on Monday, August 4.
