Today, Liverpool Football Club (LFC) announced it will offer fans the opportunity to see the Reds practice at Fenway Park at an open training session on July 22 at 6:00 p.m. on the eve of the July 23 match versus Italian giant AS Roma. Liverpool FC legends Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler will make appearances and participate in a meet and greet with fans.
Fans will watch the action from seating sections near the Red Sox Dugout. All net proceeds will benefit the Friends of Liverpool FC Foundation, a nonprofit charity that provides programs that inspire positive change for youth and adults. The $15 general admission tickets are available here or at the event at Gate D at Fenway Park beginning at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22.
The Reds recently named a 33-man squad for the pre-season tour. Led by captain Steven Gerrard, the roster includes new signings Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic. They’ll later be joined by France’s captain Mamadou Sakho and Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

The Reds will also take part in the International Champions Cup, facing Olympiacos on Sunday July 27 in Chicago, Manchester City on Wednesday July 30 in New York, followed by AC Milan on Saturday August 2 in Charlotte.

Fenway Park will be divided into neutral, AS Roma and Liverpool FC supporter sections, with the Liverpool “Kop” recreated in the bleachers and right field.
