Blake Lively wants kids. A litter of kids would work for her, but she knows that is not possible. The actress is ready for children in her life though. Lively spoke about her desire for children and her husband in a new interview with Marie Claire magazine. Entertainment Tonight Online shared some of her comments on Aug. 12.

It is hard to believe that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are nearing their two-year anniversary. The actor and actress both played the field quite a bit before they met while working together on "Green Lantern" in 2010. Ryan was previously married to Scarlett Johansson, and Blake dated her "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Blake cannot hide her happiness with Ryan though. Two years into their marriage and she is ready to tackle motherhood in a big way. The actress admitted to the magazine that she would "spit out a litter of kids" if she could. That is not all that she admitted though. She spoke openly about her relationship with Ryan Reynolds, and it does sound like the pair has the perfect relationship. She said the following:

"We've never gone a week without seeing each other. There's no major decision that I make without him. The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He's my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing."

As for their wedding anniversary, the actress revealed what she planned to get for her husband. This couple has a tradition, and she plans to keep to it for their two-year anniversary. Blake and Ryan make each other gifts instead of heading out to the stores. This definitely adds a more personal touch to things.

Blake has kept busy with her life since the end of "Gossip Girl" on CW. The actress has not been seen much on small or big screen since the end of the television series. She decided to explore other career ventures for herself. She wanted to see what her life would have been like if she had not become an actress. Her time on "Gossip Girl" began straight out of high school. She moved to New York City, and 16-hour day filled her life for six seasons. She does miss the people that she worked with, but she does not miss the long hours.

What is she doing with her life now? The actress created her own lifestyle website called Preserve. The site will focus on people that hand make products. Blake will hand select the products featured on her website. She has tried not to call it a lifestyle website. There have been comparisons made between Lively's new website and the site ran by Gwyneth Paltrow titled Goop.

Lively has tried to make it clear that she is not copying Paltrow's site. She did reach out to the actress for guidance on her new venture, but Independent.ie reported that Paltrow did not respond to Lively's request. Lively said the following about the launch of the website in a recent interview with E! News:

"I went straight from high school to Gossip Girl, and both were very structured, scheduled environments, so I never had freedom to explore and carve my own path. When I finished my show, I wanted to take a break from acting and try what I would have tried if I hadn't acted, and that was this."

The site launched last month, and Ryan Reynolds is supportive of his wife's new venture. He is not directly involved with the site, but he has offered Blake his input. Fans will see Blake Lively back on the big screen next year though. "The Age of Adaline" is in post-production and a release date in 2015 is set. The film co-stars Harrison Ford, and it will be her first project since the end of her time on television. Marie Claire's next issue arrives on newsstands on Aug. 19.
