Live-tweeted birth: Twitter employee tweets as baby Lucia joins world

A Twitter employee live-tweeted the birth of her daughter over the weekend, and naturally the story has gone viral on social media pages. BuzzFeed shared the scoop about Claire and baby Lucia on April 5.

Claire Diaz-Ortiz is a Twitter employee currently living in Buenos Aires. Her early tweets joked about googling water breaking and being in labor, but things quickly transitioned to Claire and her husband hopping in the car and heading to the hospital. The car broke down, but the live tweeting continued.

Once at the hospital, Claire tweeted about not knowing what the baby's name would be, her doctor looking like Bethenny Frankel, and just how fun those labor pains were. Claire did take a break during the live-tweeted birth during the big event itself, but did hop back onto the social media site moments afterwards.

Despite apparently being a bit early, little Lucia Paz Diaz-Ortiz is adorable and seemingly doing well. Of course the baby from the live-tweeted birth does have her own twitter page already as well.
