Today, at 2 pm ET, the Marion County Sherriff’s Office is going to be holding a live news media conference. The conference is going to be centered on the death of beloved actor and comedian Robin Williams.
As most of the world knows now, Robin Williams was found dead in his home around noon on Monday in Marion County, California. It is believed that the last time anyone seen Robin alive was Sunday night around 10 pm. His death has been reported as a suicide through asphyxiation.
It has been known that Robin has been battling a severe case of depression. He also has been fighting drug abuse and had spent some time in rehab last month.
Robin Williams was a multi-talented star. Many of his fans grew up watching him as he played the charming and quirky Mork from the spin off “Happy Days” television show, “Mork and Mindy.” He went on from this role to play many starring roles in movies such as “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and “Good Morning Vietnam.” He even played in drama movies such as “Good Will Hunting,” which earned him an Acamadey Award.
During his career, Robin won two Emmy Awards, three Academy Awards for Best Actor, four Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actor Guide Awards, and five Grammy Awards.
Robin was born on July 21, 1951. He was 63 years old at the time of his death.
Robin is survived by his wife Susan Schneider, three children Zachary, Zelda and Cody. He also leaves behind two step-children Armusewicz and a half-brother McLaurin Smith Williams. He also has two ex-wives: Valerie Velardi.
