Lots of fun is planned in the downtown Nacogdoches area for Saturday, December 7th. First off, don't miss the tuba concert (!) at First United Methodist Church at 4:00 p.m. This will be followed by everyone joining in to sing Christmas carols, and then refreshments and a visit with Santa at 5:00 in the church parlor.
A live nativity will be presented by the youth group at 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by the biggest and best lighted Christmas parade in all of east Texas - about 100 floats at last count! Be sure to get a good spot downtown so you can enjoy the parade.
