Live musicians for your Miami wedding

Nothing is better than having live musicians at your wedding.  Sometimes bands can be expensive, however, even just one or two musicians can set a different tone.  I recently had the chance to talk with Miami Guitarist, Carlos Abanto to discuss the music services he offers for Miami weddings.

Miami Wedding Examiner:  What services do you provide?

Carlos:  Musicians services for weddings: ceremonies, cocktail parties and receptions.

MWE:  What kind of music is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions?

Carlos:  We play mostly Classical for ceremonies (all the standards: Canon in D, Ave Maria, both Wedding Marches, etc.)  We play mostly Jazz, Bossa and Flamenco for cocktail parties; and dancing music for receptions.

MWE: How many years experience do you have?

Carlos: More than 10 years. I work with many Agents and Planners. If you request a Guitarist to any Agent in South Florida, you have a very good chance to end up having me. Experience and reliability, that's me.
They know, and they call me.

MWE: What is the price range for services?

Carlos: Any of my musicians or I charge $200 for the first hour + $100 for any additional hour.

MWE: Where can I hear samples of music?

Carlos: You may request me samples via e-mail to cabanto@aol.com, or you may go to YouTube. When there, just type "Carlos Abanto" in the Search box. I have several acts posted.
