It's the unofficial end of summer, and for many of us, the last opportunity to party and celebrate before fall begins. If you're spending Labor Day in Denver this year and want to include live music as part of the fun, we've got several suggestions to help point you in the right direction.

A Taste of Colorado 2014, Civic Center Park
The annual Taste of Colorado has been going on all weekend at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver, and along with sampling food and drink from some of Denver's finest eateries, live music is a part of the fun—in fact, you'll find bands performing on five different stages throughout the park grounds. The main stage on Labor Day will feature national acts like Jana Kramer and Credence Clearwater Revisited, while local acts performing on other stages will include Rumors Follow, Chris Daniels & the Kings, The Yawpers, Gora Gora Orkestar and others. You'll have to buy tickets to try the food, but admission to the festival grounds and all live shows are free and open to all! For a full lineup and all the details, visit the Taste of Colorado website.

OneRepublic at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison
Colorado's own OneRepublic are finishing up their summer tour with a homecoming set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Labor Day, with Austin-based Saints of Valory opening the show. Tickets are nearly gone for this show, but some are still available at 3rd party sites like StubHub. Gates at 6:00 p.m.; show starts at 7:30. This show is all-ages.

Johnny Campbell & The Bluegrass Drifters at The Walnut Room
If you're up for some great traditional bluegrass in an intimate setting, Nashville-based Johnny Campbell & The Bluegrass Drifters will be performing on Labor Day at The Walnut Room, 3131 Walnut Street in Denver. Opening act is Jimbo Darville & the Truckadours. Tickets for this show are only $5, available from The Walnut Room. Doors at 4:00 p.m. This show is also all-ages.

Enjoy your Labor Day, and stay safe!
