Live Music for Valentine's

February - In the grip of winter..
Hope all is well with you. As of my last article, I have suffered a small setback with the loss of my 4th toe. I've been a little distracted dealing with the issue, but I'd like to keep my examiner.com writing gig, so here I am.

Jazz always in full stride around town. regardless of the season, however I can't say regardless of the weather. We've been fortunate in the Seattle area to have dodge a bullet it or two when it comes to winter weather. Because we seem to be on the edge, I would like to suggest that you call the venue where you are headed a head of time to find out what the venue's game plan in case of inclement weather.

For the Valentine's day, At Jazz Alley, Hometown reed girl Mindi Abair prerforms through Sunday,
Over at the Triple Door. The Atomic Bombshells perform through Saturday evening with two shows 7 & 10pm followed, in the Musicquarium The Ben Rice Band takes the stage at 9pm on Friday and Saturday night it's the The Hot McGhandis also at 9pm

Over at the Crocodile, Bowie Vision does it's tribute to David Bowie for Valentine's day starting at 8pm the bill also features the Braxmatics, and Purr Gato. This one's 21 and over and just $13 in advance. Saturday's bill features Shearwater, a band with decades of touring experience a brings it to the Crocodile for just one night. Also featured on Saturday night is Jesca Hoop and Alice Amiri.

A short report this time, just enough to keep me active while I recover. Get out there and soak up some live music.
