We all knew it was bound to happen; after all the rumors and announcements floating around the web, it’s finally happened. J.J. Abrams is finally back in the director’s chair filming Star Trek 2, no doubt planning the amount of lens flares he’ll be using this time around. According to sources, Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock BBC series) will be playing the villain in the sequel. Peter Weller (RoboCop, Fringe, Dexter, Psych), Alice Eve (The Decoy Bride, Entourage) and Noel Clarke (Doctor Who) will be joining the crew and stepping onto the deck of the Enterprise. The film is scheduled to premier in May 2013 and yes, it'll be in 3-D.
