Live, learn, and earn at Walt Disney World

For many fans of Walt Disney World, the ultimate Disney fantasy is to move there. Leave school, quit your job, quit winter, and just proclaim "I'm going to Disney World!" as if you were a Super Bowl MVP.

Sound familiar? It does to us too, and that's what makes the Disney College Program such a "fantasmic" experience. Current students can apply to spend a semester living, working, and playing at the Vacation Kingdom of the World. To clarify this statement -- Disney will pay you to spend several months there, and depending on your school, you can also earn college credits.

Here's how it works: while you're approaching midterm exams at your New Jersey college, take a look at this list of presentations. If Disney is not coming to your campus, you can attend a presentation at another local school, or view an e-presentation online. You then fill out an online application and sign up for a phone interview, where you can happily gush to a recruiter about the time you dressed up like Cinderella at Magic Kingdom or the time you pulled the sword of the stone. (Remember those days?)

If all goes well, you will receive your acceptance in a field ranging from merchandise to park operations to entertainment (audition required). At this point, you will want to find a professor at your school to sponsor you, as they can help set up an independent study program and arrange for Disney's credits to transfer. They offer a variety of business-oriented classes, as well as seminars in other topics such as entertainment show production and engineering.

Upon your arrival in Florida, you will be living in one of Disney's four apartment complexes with other college students from across the country and around the world and working on Disney property. In your free time, you will have free access to the theme parks, and discounts at Disney restaurants, retail locations, and dozens of third party locations in the vicinity of the resort. During your working hours, you will be enhancing the vacations of thousands of guests from all over the world, and perhaps enjoying some behind the scenes magic as well.

If this all sounds too good to be true, you are probably the perfect candidate for the Disney College Program. Let us know when you get accepted!
